Should I be overly worried ?

Was cleaning out mud from under rear drivers side wheel arch, on my 110, and found this small (ish) hole !! Is it something that needs urgent repair ?

I would personally knock any rot on the head immediately before it creeps into other areas. Can't see clearly in PIC so just general statement but hard learned lesson for me in previous times.

Yeah, sorry took photo in the dark, bit unclear, hole is dark patch in centre of photo. Was taken looking in from behind rear wheel into arch, not sure if it's an outrigger or a body support.

As Already been said, Get it cut out and plated, then spray some waxoil/ dintrinol in chassis cavity. It wont cure itself or get smaller by ignoring it im afraid.:( When you start tapping around there it will prob get bigger. Look also in same spot but opposite side.

Yeah, will plate it, have checked other side and all around, chassis is all good everywhere else. Do you know if it's the DEFENDER 110 CENTRE BODY CROSSMEMBER - LR542 / NRC4171 (sorry for caps, pasted in from website)?? And if so I guess to replace it would mean tub off ?
