Okay - so after what seemed like a successful weekend I replaced the discs, callipers and break pads on my TD5 90. All came off and went on back okay - strangely enough for me as usually something goes wrong :)

(well it started to the weekend before then but I caught it before I broke the calliper brake pipes on the front and had to stop without a truck for the week...part ordered then came the next weekend!)

So anyways I got replacement hub nuts like:

When I was taking the older ones off there was one that was a two nut with locking plate style. With the ones I've got on should I be bending a bit of the ring at the top in the picture against the flat part of the hub?

once nut is tightened you flatten the locking tab part against the flat on the stub axle

Thanks guys - appreciate the tips. I've checked everything, crimped the hub nut and feel much better now! Especially since I'm heading up north this weekend :)
