Shooting / Observation Hatch

Afternoon, All.

I'd like to fit an observation hatch in the roof of my 90 whereby I can stand in the back. My mate suggested a sunroof, but I need to get my head and torso through it and be able to move around.

What options are there? My 90 has the original headlining in place and I don't want to remove that completely. Of course, the hatch needs to keep the elements out and be secure.

I had a removable sunroof in my 110. I took it off and pop riveted a sheet of ally over the hole as it leaked and I didn't shoot. It also had a socket for a plug in lamp just below it.

I am very rusty on this but did there used to be a law against shooting from a vehicle? Not that I am going to grass you up but it just rung a bell.

You used not to be able to shoot a deer from a vehicle at all; in recent years that changed, such that you can now shoot a deer from a stationary vehicle, but you cannot use the vehicle to corral the animal. Anyway, I'm not after deer!

Try Masai, they used to do a proper shooting hatch for the rear, not sure if it still exists, but here's a link to their 'windows' page:

it would require only minor mods to the roof lining, which is easily removed, modded and replaced - see my roof lining revival post.
