Tomorrow I am replacing my front shocks due to knackered lower bushes. Have read the procedure for shock and turret removal on the excellent www.discovery2.co.uk site. I have bought a pair of Britpart Super Gaz shocks and am hoping for an improvement in the ride over speed bumps and our shockingly maintained roads.
This evening before dark I managed to loosen the six bolts each side that hold it all together (a quick squirt of Plus Gas and they all turned easily). My only worry is how will I tighten the lower bolts as I could only get a spanner on them not a socket for my torque wrench. Any ideas please?

Just done the same job if you''ve got a 3/8 drive socket set with loads of extension bars you can undo the two bolts from the top 😎

You can get cheap sets for around 10 squids and worth their weight in gold! For replacing things like the fpr and other fiddly bits etc
