Shock absorber size

Hi, Spent a fair bit of time searching the forum for an answer for this but cant find it so hopefully someone can help. I have just bought a pair of new old stock shocks for my S111 SWB and when i compare them to what i believe are the originals (Orange Unipart) they are far smaller diameter and all advertised look the same smaller size, is this Ok or have i got the wrong ones. Front or back - they're different. Take a picture.

You may have LWB ones fitted,an easy upgrade when fitting larger heavier tires.

The new ones were sold as "For Front or Rear" and the four originals are all the same.

Fitted with 16" steel wheels, are they standard ?, also the axle U bolts are bigger than the replacements purchased from Paddocks/Craddocks (1/2 against 7/16") but i guess this could just be penny pinching pattern parts as they were very cheap.

16 by what ?

16x6 is swb 16x7 is lwb

Not sure if 6 or 7 but ive only seen 15" steels on S111's so far (I'm new to Land Rovers if you hadn't guessed) so was 16"just an option from new ?
