mines still sitting on the bench. How did you go about removing tank brackets and then fitting it all back again. Remove tank i pressume? did you cut off brackets while attached to tank? just wondered how you lined it all up after.

Mick

Previous post by another lz guy who got pressbrake to do his cross member said he drilled the rivets out and removed the load area floor plate and pressbrake said it was one of the easiest td5 he had done.

That was mine. I removed the tub floor to check for corrosion and it made removing and fitting the cross member so much easier. The tank came out up and through the tub. Also changed my A frame ball joint before re-riveting the floor pan back.

Where did you get the galvy done? I have lots of odd bits and bobs in need of a hot dip.

Place in Gillingham, I think they have depots all around the country, have to say its a very nice smooth quality finish, be aware min charge is 90 quid up to a certain weight, not sure what the weight is though, I just know that you can galv just about everything on a land rover for the 90 quid.
You can see the nice finish in this pic
