After some vigerous greenlaning on sat the disco seamed fine, that was till I got on the motorway this morning at 2.30.....anything over 55/60mph and the vibrations from the front are enough to wake the dead!!
Slow it down to 50/55 and all is good again.

No other symptoms, was too dark to really see underneath but what I did see looked fine, tho possibly a little too much 'toe out' on the front....

The vibrations feel n/s/f

Cheers in advance

Have you cleaned the wheels? Remember wheel balancing is done using small amounts of weight added at specific points around the wheel, it doesn't take much sticky mud on the inside of the rim to throw it out of balance.

No, will try that this afternoon, thank you. I just assumed something bent/broken

+1

I **** myself when this happened to me then realised this was why. A quick blast of with the pressure washer and all was good. Do it as soon as you can as the vibrations won't be good for the rest of the car.

Gonna do it as soon as I finish work...take to local car wash and use their pressure washer.
It's just weird how it's only at high speed drives beautifully up to 55 (well for a auto 200 lol)

And yeah I almost had a brown trouser moment lol

The last time it happened to me it only became evident after 45 mph, below that it wasn't obvious, but I have a lift and special tracks on so a little vibration is normal
