Not really. Ideally the IRD needs to be removed and stripped down so all wearables can be replaced. Have you checked the oil condition yet? If it's grey in colour, then the IRD needs a rebuild anyway.
ot had chance to check the oil yet there is nook leakage and no whining noises etc just vibration
 
If you are going to replace these parts, you could try Gentlemen Of Salvage in the UK, there was a very cheery (not) fellow from Portugal who said they were really good at supplying Freelander parts to him.

The IRD is not a particularly safe item to buy 2nd hand as nobody knows its history, so tread carefully.

The price they are quoting for an IRD is about the same as the price for a "rebuid kit" to rebuild yours. It will come with all the bearings and replacement cooler - plus seals. I got a kit and it was missing some seals - I'm not sure if the IRD needs anything else like "shims". If you know what you are doing with this sort of stuff, its probably the way I'd go (assuming the actual gears have not been damaged) - but I didn't so gave the IRD and kit to a diff specialist to fit - that cost a lot more than the kit itself - so for you a 2nd hand unit might be the quickest/cheapest option.

It can be removed and installed with just a standard socket set - but lots of room under the car to work in is (almost) a must - with lots of extension pieces and a pole over the ratchet handle for extra leverage. The driveshaft needs a 32mm socket on the hub nut (assuming std LR nut) and is a real bugger to get off - use a breaker bar with a pole over for leverage - I then used a jack to lift the pole.

You could try replacing just the drive shaft 1st in case you were interpreting the movement wrong. However, if there is an issue with that bearing it can cause the gears in the IRD to slip/jam and blow the IRD case to pieces.

Thank you for the time bro I think I will change the drive shaft first. I live in the south of france and most breakers won’t ship out here ???? And second hand parts here are expensive ??? . I do have a friend who visits the Uk regularly. Only had the car 5 months I love it so it will get all the tlc it needs
