Servicing Costs OMG

After making afew cost enquires with regards to having the trusted TD5 booked in for a major service.. I must say that Im shocked at some of the prices the specialists came up with... hence Im sticking to the one Ive got her booked into

It seems the average price for a major service is from 420 to 550

Sadly got to spend the money as I cant service the truck this year due to a back injury

Take it to a main LR dealers service dept. and it will be £800+

find a local small garage or such its not to hard to drain and refill engine axles gear box and t/box £100 service items oil,filters etc £100 labour,you can get full service kit from independant suppliers,ive done a lot of full services on vehicles that had had supposed full service and they had never had axles or transmission changed in years ,want doing once a year at least
