hi, its coming up to service time again due in october. last year had full service all oils, filters ect. looked at records and i have only done 4500 miles so far from last service and will only be doing another 500 miles approx by october, making a total of 5000 miles. is it worth another service at this kind of milage or should i wait a untill i have covered more miles. thanks.

I would just change the engine oil and filter and check the levels, maybe lubricate the door hinges etc. The Mot covers most other safety items so should be OK for another year. Low mileage engines should have the oil changed more frequently that's why I would carry out the oil and filter change.

Thats sound advice, also check the tyres specially the spare for pressure. Its worth keeping the receipts in your handbook just to show any new owners what works you have done between services.
