Hiya,

considering buying a set of paras for my series, and was looking at,
i think they are called TIC parabolics, and paddocks ones, but the
price difference is vast,
which has me thinking, the tic ones are roughly 90 pounds each, so for
the set of four would be around £400, but the paddocks ones are half
that.

i e-mailed TIC and they said their quality is second to none and they
only sell top quality springs,

has anyone got any views as to which i oughto go for, i need the paras
with the helper leaf on as i tow a large van on a regular basis.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

hehe.

Chris Perfect imports the TIC ones, and to be fair, they have done a lot of
work on the quality. The latest thing to improve on them is that the leaves
are separated by nylon blocks, rather than having kinks in them to allow
them to touch only at certain points, which the older ones (and most of the
"opposition" had/have.

Whether this makes 'em worth more, I couldn't say. They do look
convincingly good though. Bear in mind that you'll probably want uprated
dampers as well.
