Series Landy breakers yard recommendations

Can anyone recommend a breakers yard where i could get a replacement ser 3 petrol engine?

I'm looking for a good runner to replace the current 2.25 lump in the 1972 swb. I live in Kent and all the old breakers yards they use to have land rovers are all gone now....

there is an outfit near tring be a trip round the m25 but they seem to break a lot, often they have parts on the bay like bulkheads gearboxes etc, their ebay id is seriesdefenderboys or something like that.

naturally they are nowt to do with me and I don't earn if you buy from them

oo I had forgotten about them, heard nothing but good stuff about turners

wonder how long they take, if the landy is your daily drive you might be more difficult though

I learnt a good few years (and land rovers ago) not to have one as my only transport

I think any work by turners would be out of my price range... its been suggested a quick replacement of the camshaft rollers and sliders could tighten things up enough to make it usable again???
