Series III Colour

Ok I'm in need of a little help here.

What colour should I repaint Gertrude (once its wamr enough!)

Colours I think are right for a Land Rover Series in order.

Black (matt)
Drab Olive
Bronze Green
Mansi Red

Whats your view??

bronze green or conniston green like mine, then again me new ser2 is jcb yellow and gloss black !

Mines bronze green with limestone roof, sides and wheels and silver headlight surrounds. Looks good, I recommend it, I applied the synthetic enamel with a load of pound land paint rollers, works a treat.

New colour suggestion from my 4 year old Daughter Zoe.

Pink roof, Red doors and bonnet, Purple body, Silver rear wheels and Gold fronts!!!:doh:

ardennes green...

hmmm i was thinkin satin black with cream roof

matt or satin black on a series doesn't work, my cousin paintedhis 2a matt black and it didn't look too good, sandstone looks good as does olive drab (pre NATO mod paint if you can get it )
marine blue suits them(mine is marine blue) its also known as landrover blue by a one manufacturer (cant remember who and i'm not goingto the garage to check as i have just come from there)

Has to be BLUE... it's a series....

Thats it!!!! Mid Bronze Green it is! With tan tilt (once I can afford one!) and Limestone wheels.
