Hi y'all

Looking at buying a complete new loom for my Diesel 1966 88 with negative earth from Autosparks, but confused to the point where it asks for "Alternator Conversion" What does this mean? Is it referring to the old dynamo system or something?

Also is doesn't say if its for negative or positive earth... I'm assuming this matters?

Sent an E-mail their way this morning but no reply as of yet.

Failing all of that, anyone know another place to get complete looms?

Cheers and thanks for looking :D

looms ? i make them up my self off the roll and solder and shrink sleve the joints, then yer not left with a load of spare connections you wont use, if you have an alternator it will be neg earth, it will be the same loom for either neg or poz earth, if you are running a dynamo like me it will be poz earth, as the early ser2s wer, but its easy enough to just power the dynamo in reverse with a 12v battery to change the polarity, just a 2 second flash will be enough
