Does anyone make a repair kit for the Series II/III door bottom frames? In common with every Landy I have ever owned the front bottom corner rots away and allows the doors to flap in the wind ... well, not seat properly when closed!

Surely, someone must have come up with something over the past 60 years to repair the things!

I will await your expert comments, apart from, "It's a Landy, what do you expect?"!

its notan amazing fix but use a wire brush to clear it up abit then sand hopefully at some point ull find some solid metal, get some steel strip (i found Steel Angle | Angle Iron | Mild Stainless Steel | Aluminium Angle | Stainless Steel Angle | Online are very good :) thats about 15/20mm wide (depends on how bad it is) and use a low power setting on the welder, i found that the 3mm it abit thick so id advise no thicker than 3 (with 3mm it wil probally need a filing), paint it in a dark colour if u dnt have the clour to match ur landy, i found that method to work very well

Thanks for that, guys. I was thinking about approaching one of the local tinbashers to see if they could bend the profile for me.

Will let you know how I get on with them.
