Series 3 front door bottoms

Hi All,
Still building and playing around with various parts.

Question to the clever folk.

What is the difference between a series 3 and a series 2a front door?

Both our front doors have badly rotted inside frames, although the skins are reasonable.
Buying new parts to fabricate the frames would seem expensive when looking at the price of a new door.

for a series 3 quote £99... the part number indicates a series 3 but it shows as a series 2.

has anyone bought these with an indication of quality?

There are only small differences between 2a and 3 door bottoms that most would not notice, shape of handle hole and check strap fitting type.
Quality can be issue with some, the main thing with the cheap ones is the skin is of ordinary aluminum, soft and dents with ease.

Thanks for that. I queried with Paddocks about the difference and they replied that the 2006R was the correct one for the series 3. As for the quality, one can only guess.
