Series 3 SWB restoration....

Time to get started on our Series 3 2 1/4 diesel project car. Bought in January 2018 after several many pints. It's been hanging around waiting for some love, and now it is finally time.
Going to completely strip it and rebuild from the ground up, refurbishing what we can.
I'm not really very mechanically minded so will be using the forum for help and I'm sure mistakes will be made along the way.
1st step is to sort the wheels and tyres out so I can actually roll it into the unit.

Took wheels off yesterday to get refurbed and new tyres, so I can then roll it into the unit, it's a private car park at works unit, will be doing the resto inside fortunately!

Hello accyroy - just coming to the end of a Series 3 (1983) full resto...

I have one or two new bits and pieces you may wish to invest in. Will be building a list with Part No/s. soon to be lodge on the Parts 4 sale forum.
