I'm rebuilding a Ford Anglia 105e steering box, but new bearings are no longer available for it, so I'd like to find parts for another vehicle that I can modify to fit.

I believe bearing races/cups for a Series3 Land Rover steering box might be suitable - Can anyone confirm that 10 ball bearings fit in each race and are they 9/32"?

Thank you in advance.

I dont know where you are, you need to put location in.
but on the bearings is a number and you should be able to locate any bearings here if you cant read the number find a local branch and take your old one along a they will match it.

Thank you for your help.

Jamesmartin, it would be very helpful if you could measure the bearings at work, and even better if you could measure the races they go in.

I noticed on johncraddockltd.co.uk they sell "Ball for steering column race 9/32 inch" and wondered if that was actually for a steering box race because I always thought you replaced the entire steering column bearing instead of fitting new balls in an old race.
