Hi

I've just overhauled the front axle and have started the re assembly, the left hand side with the larger steering arm went together without any problems. But now starting on the right, the swivel pin and housing has gone on, but I can't seem to get the half shaft back in. There seems to be a slight inclined angle to the face of the swivel pin housing which seems to be restricting the movement of the UJ to allow it to pop inside. It was a long time ago I stripped them down so am not sure if I have missed something but.

I was wondering if: 1- There is a nack to getting the shaft in.
2- The angle to the face of the housing means something is wrong.

Thanks in advance

Joe

I hope it's worked this time, thanks for your help.

It is leaning out at the top by about 30 degrees that's what raised suspicions, as the hardy spicer joint won't clear it to allow me to slot the shaft to the diff, the left side is perfect.
