OK This is what I am working with ,Coil, Solenoid, Fusebox, I can move these if need be . Starter and Alternator. 12 volt.
As said the wiring is from mod ambulance so there will be a few stray wires that I will not need.

picture of wires showing the identification colours and there location, engine bay dash ,heater ,wiper motor etc would help.I see that the loom in question has been marked with some effort, what ambulance did it originate from series 2 forward control or just series 2

It was just series 2a on log book, not forward control.will get more detailed pics of colored wires

through chassis R/B number plate , tail lights right and left
R/Y rear fog lamp
G/R indicator lamp l/h
G/P brake lights l/h and r/h
G/W indicator lamp r/h
the R/B in engine bay to go into dash to light switch. Also R/Y to fog light switch
you mention colour but they have no exit point on the loom ,example no G/W passengers side and GB fuel gauge at dash but does not appear at say tank .
It would be helpful if passenger side and drivers side length i.e. do they reach the head light or just long enough to reach junction box .
wiper motor colours are they RLG red/light green and NLG brown/light green

Yes they do reach headlights think 2 from drivers side travel through rad to passenger side. Certain wiper is RLG and NLG, Can check later though.

What is the position of the brake switch ,on pedal inside or pressure switch on brake lines .the loom seem to have been label what are the label descriptions saying .and finally
still need to know where certain cable exit the loom G/B ,U/B , U , W/Y,W/R ,W/S, G/P,N/B

The brake switch will be fitted on pedal, most of the labels are just letters to identify that they are the same wire in and out. some have labels on that match your advice.
Found these to tonight coming from middle of loom in to engine bay, they have spade connectors on them G/B, and G/P, am I right in thinking these are brake switch and fuel sender ?
Going to pop up and check where those wires exit the loom.

OK These wires exit loom at
U/B passenger wing.
U passenger wing.
W/S middle engine bay drivers side.
W/Y middle engine bay drivers side.
N/B drivers side wing.
U drivers side wing
Thanks

yes G/B to fuel tank sender and G/P to brake switch ,the N/B to horn usually mounted on passenger of bonnet but you have no N/B elsewhere ?.W/Y i would say is the charge warning lamp from the dynamo voltage/regulator position so you would replace this with a N/Y running from dash to alternator .The N/R that passes through the dash and the N/R in the engine bay are they the same diameter would suggest you check with meter to confirm this and would be the feed from battery side of starter solenoid to ignition switch .

There is a W/Y on back of gauges can just make it out as it is faded. Going to order choke cable and new light switch. Not sure what this button thing is in pic it has spring on it. Should the light switch be there ?

any colour you choose as it only goes to the lighting switch N/U is the circuit diagram colour, then goes to dim/dip switch ,are you using the floor mounted switch or using a column type switch for the dim/dip and indicator of a series III
the N/R in engine bay and N/R through dash could be used as the ignition switch feed from battery side of starter solenoid but would confirm it one continuous cable with a meter

Gonna have a try today at Ignition. Using this solenoid in pic, really sorry but which points do the wires go TO Solenoid ?
The N/R I have comes from dash down in to engine bay but stops there nothing on end of it, it is much thicker then rest of wires.
I will be using an aftermarket stalk for Indicators ect, will get pic later.
