Thanks I'm very bad with these technical things, I know the order but I don't really understand it, maybe I need a diagram or something? Thanks

what is there not to understand. Identify #1 cylinder on the engine remove plug and turn engine by hand until the piston is at TDC. attach ht lead to that plug and attach tuther end of lead to the distributor cap immediatly above the rotor arm. then attach the other leads in the order that the engine fires. as the rotor turns it will make each plug fire in turn. If it doesn't assume timing is 180 degrees out.

I think!!! it's been a long long time since I set up a petrol engine..

No worrys Lloydiee :)

if you've had nowt to do with engines before it can be a bit difficult without a diagram, take your time with things and try not to blow yourself,or worse, your Landy up ;)

The cylinder at the front is no.1. The firing order is 1 3 4 2. Cylinder 1 spark plug is usually fed from the dizzy cap connector nearest the front and the block. The dizzy goes anticlockwise. I'm sure the firing order is stamped into one of the manifolds.
