Hi, I have just bout a discovery series one and have managed to find a second hand dog guard for it. The dog guard has the main arms that fit both sides but no captive nuts (or whatever they are called or spacers).
I dont want to pay £25 for the bits so does anyone have any ideas how to fix it without the kit or where I can get captive nuts and what they are called.
Any advice would be appreciated - I was thinking about using superglue/loctite to bond a large washer and nut to the drilled fixing point any maybe a bit of copper pipe for the spacer ?
