Hi,

I'm selling my 1999 P38 2.5 DSE Range Rover on Ebay as a none runner because the engine has immobilised itself.

I've had an email from someone on Ebay who has suggested it may require a BECM Synch Mate. The auction ends at 18:00 on Saturday but if I can get it started before then it will avoid gifting it to a dealer.

Is there anyone in the Sheffield area who can lend/sell me a Synch Mate and some advice as to how to use it ?

As a none-runner I'm expecting £1,200 but as a runner it could make £2,500 so more than happy to discuss a deal.

Best Regards

Why not buy a sync mate for just over £100 and then sell that too.

BTW great input over the years from you, will miss you when you're gone

Looking like the best option will buy me some time.

Proved microswitches OK but Key Code Lockout doesn't work. So called in some help.

The auto ("I've done 100's of these") electrician told me it would be a tow away job requiring new BECM. Nathan on Ebay told me about the sync mate and suggested I try Landyzone to see if any members in the area with the necessary kit to do the job.

Don't mind paying but hate donating dosh to dealers :ballchain:
