I've got my LT230 'box up on Ebay. I swapped it out because a) the gearbox it was attached to suffered a layshaft bearing failure, and b) I don't really go off-road, so the 1.2 ratio transfer box that came with the replacement was a much better choice for me. This transfer box was markedly cleaner than the rest of my vehicle when I bought it. If I had to guess, I'd say it was from Ashcroft's or similar but I have absolutely no way to tell. It's definitely got the 1.4 ratio; my Discovery was geared like a rally car with it fitted. It also says on it that it has a 4-pin diff, though I've not disassembled it to find out.
I've stored it with the shafts vertical, which has unfortunately meant that some of the oil has slowly leaked out, but other than that it's in very good condition. Listing ends tonight (bank holiday Monday) around 8pm.
