Posting once again as I have for sale a fully rebuilt LT230 transfer box. The whole unit was completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned using Karcher products (RM31). Each and every single item in it has been replaced apart from the gears. All the bearings have been renewed and there is even an NOS (New Old Stock) centre diff in it from a well known NOS spare parts supplier in the UK. The shafts have been upgraded to 300M spec from Ashcrofts and the mainshaft gear (new) is the drilled one as to ensure perfect lubrication for heavy loads. The seals are new OEM type items. Not a single Aftermarket quality part has been used. Only OEM, Genuine or even better. The transfer box is the 1.4 to 1 ratio version. Ideal for an individual looking to beef up their gearing. It has been tested for leaks. No noise apart from the notchy feel on the diff because it's a new one as mentioned on the Defender workshop manual. Photos will follow ASAP.
