Hey,
We moved back to the UK after living in France for a few years and have a cracking 2011 Defender 110 Puma. I am loathe to see her go, but, what's the opinion...convert her to RHD or sell/exchange her?
Cheers

I imported my 200Tdi Disco when I moved back from Holland 3½yrs ago and enjoy it being a lefty, no need to swap it over or sell, just enjoy it.

It depends what part of the UK you are going if rural then driving a LHD is not that bad, if a city do you really want something that will not go in a lot of car parks and will be a pain to park on the street and if you do it might not be there when you get back, maybe better to sell in France as will not have to re-register it or change lights

Welcome...it's worth more in France than if you bring it back and re-reg in uk sell it there and buy back in uk...it is French reg though?...

I’d drive it. Not your Landys fault it’s the wrong way round. You’d get used to it :) others here (Americans) kept their incorrect setup and don’t mind - their passengers may not agree :D

Roads are a lot lot wider in America so easier to overtake sitting on the wrong side of the vehicle...

I've driven rhd in Europe and lhd in UK, for a couple of years at a time, as well as for shorter periods. I wouldn't advocate leaving it lhd in UK. You get used to it, but it's never as comfortable as being in correct side for the road.
Weigh up the cost of conversion vs selling it in France. Whichever works out more cost effective, would seem the logical way to go.

@Gavlaar61 ... I'd say sell the 110.... to ME!!!!
Honestly, you can get used to driving a LHD over here like I do.
It is a pain if you get too close behind a lorry and can't see around the right side to pass.
Another thing to get used to in a LHD truck is that the oncoming traffic and pedestrians constantly stare at the RH side of your truck looking for a driver but no one is there driving. lol

Oh yeah... drive up windows.
Get used to unbuckling your safety belt to reach all the way across the passenger seat just to drop all your coins on the ground as you try to hand it to the McDonalds worker through their tiny window. ugh... FML...

Id sell it & buy a Rhd ive had leffys in Spain ok for over there but not the uk roads I couldn't be doing with it tbh
Cost & time it takes to convert it isn't worth it.
Unless you have loads of dosh & spare time plus another vehicle to use whilst the conversion is done.
