Select Neutral

Well, where do I start? I would like to join in the threads and offer advice as a new member but am lost at the moment. I live in Spain and have a 'select neutral' message whenever I put the gearlever in gear. I have replaced the ECU but no difference. I have dissconected the multi pin connector to the Transfer box and the message goes away. All lights flash on the gear change console. The indicator click has disapeared. Do I replace the transfer box switch?
Frustrated and a long way from physical assistance. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You don't say what model of the landrover marque it is that you drive. If you post the question in the relevant forum hopefully someone may be able to help you.
