Im pretty sure the bearing in my air con pump pulley is fecked as it keeps making grinding squealing noises until it finally stops spinning altogether!!
It can be fine for days then suddenly decide to have a fit of seizures.
My question is, is it possible to replace the pulley bearing without having to strip the pump down to much? The last thing i want to have to do is release the gas that's in the system already.
That's another question, is it possible to get these old systems refilled any more or do they need converting to be able to take the newer refrigerant?
