sedimenter removal

hello,

trying to get the sedimenter off, undone the bolt on top of the housing but it still wont come off. is there somthing i am missing- screw it off hammer?

done it, hammer and a face full of diesel rust and muck!

Doesn't it just unscrew, like a filter?

nah m8 just undo the bolt and in theory it just pulls away. in reality they get gummed up through all the crap being thrown at em.

So that bolt head on the top is not just a bleed screw it's the fixing for the bowl then??

that nut is a bit of a ****, very small head so give a care not to round it. 7/16 i think it was
