TBH I think extra door locks pointless when you have glass a few inches above the locks.
you need visable steeringwheel clamps/covers to try to stop thefts, but once the feckers get in through smashed glass, anything can happen..

out of sight-
out of mind is mt motto..

The locks would be as well as the other secutity measures.....i what im thinking.

I once wired a car so that it would not start unless you had two switches on the dash in the correct positions before you turn the key.

Mine will have them scratching their heads as it isn't landrover security or easily bypassed to run

Being in a rural area i think out of sight is the best way, park mine with a steering lock in a field not visable from the road, also I would leave the glove box and cubby box open with nouthing in if possible!
Some right scum about these days!

mine has been parked up in a mates barn, with roller shutter doors, a 40 ft shipping container has been dragged in front of it, shackles through the prop shaft, some thing to lock the steering, a pedal lock, 3 battery isolators, immobiliser, alarm, i have removed the fuel banjo and placed heatshrink over and refitted, the whole property is surrounded by infra red beams, that i installed several years ago, is there anything else i should do?
Ps i kidd you not

:D

with the current storms the buildings will blow away, reverse sorts the container, good bolt croppers cure shackles, a jump lead will cure the isolators, loss of leccie sorts the xray beams, and a towing bar sorts the rest - next..
or.......
yep, go buy a mondeo, for everyday use....... lol

my buddy had his keys stolen a month ago for work, cleared him out, safe and all, the cheeky ****s came back to his place to have a go at the out buildings with the keys, the only way they could do it was during the day when they where at home and the perimeter beams where switched off.
they made off with 2 quads across fields as the only way in and out of the property has electric gates. it is possible they came for my 90, but fortunatley i had picked it up that morning for a laning trip the next day.
a little paranoid is an understatement.
I am currently building a workshop at home, where both my 90`s will live, one is going to get a full chassis up rebuild the other has just had lots spent on it.
They will be both parked on axle stands and the wheels chained up lol

You can steal mine, will come and collect it with a few friends as the tracker will tell me where it is ;)

That's only if you can get round the 11,000kva electric pulses that run through the door handles, seats and steering wheel, and will not mention some very special modifications to the wiring loom and starter circuit, you would literally have to HIAB mine away and then spend an awfully long time trying to work out what I did to it, but I will find it :D
