Hello!!!!!!

I've started putting money into my classic, bumpers, winch, rock sliders etc. and I'm all too aware that the security is ****e!!!!

I've got an alarm which I'm going to fit, but what is out there to secure it physically???

I used to have a snap-off steering wheel, so I was considering one of those, or maybe one of those lockable pedal boxes, but I can't only find them for defenders.......

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Steve

I reckon a removable steering wheel is a good start. I also had a Clifford alarm fitted to a car which had proximity sensors, was really useful - rubbish if parked on a road/pavement, but great if parked on a driveway where noone *should* be wandering around the car! Most high-end Cliffords also have remote start, great for cold mornings :D

if you are preparing this for off road use, then reposition the engine management ecu up high to stop any possible flooding in the deep water moments and make it easy to remove for yourself as and when you are not using the vehicle. along with a good alarm, and a steering lock or removable steering wheel, should make it pretty secure
