I lurve my D2 it's comfy'ish towes and generally goes well etc.

However the front seat doesn't really go far enough back for my liking, The P38 seats were the same however you could adjust the seat base a tad lower to give some extra legroom.

The Material seats in mine doesn't seem to have a seat base adjuster, with the seat all the way back it isn't ideal, the main gripe is my knee hitting the wheel when I brake.

And no i'm not 7ft lol only 6'4 38in leg.

I see the ES premium and some spec'd up Discos can have Leccy seats, do they have base adjustment and can they be fitted "cheaply" to a GS D2?

For the electric front seats, the seat can be raised/lowered at the front and rear, also moved forward and backwards, and the seat back rake has adjustment so a seat with an eight way adjustment. Plus the steering wheel can be raised or lowered.
Electric seats could be fitted to the GS, but I’ve no idea on the cost.

I think your problem is your inside leg measurement! I bet you have fun getting jeans to fit! I'm 5'9 and have only 31" inside leg. Which is seen as normal for my height. I take it you have moved the wheel up as far as it will go. (Obscures some of the instrument panel - I know).
Crazy idea, cut and shut the brake pedal a bit?!

I've read on other forums that people flipped the manual seat rails around for the seat to extended farther backward.
For the motorized seats there is a more to do to extend the rails farther back.
Now that Idea I like!!!!! I also had to swop the two front seats over for a while until I worked out how to repair the lumbar support. Was doable but adjusting the seat back was a pain!
