Looking for seats for my 90 td5 I don't want bucket seats. Something that looks good and comfy. Or is it just worth refoaming landy seats. Thanks.

Well if u want comfort... and arm rests... and 3 seats

rangie classic rear seat...

very small cut to the rear tub, will post pics later as cant access flickr on work pc, with them in that position they still flip forward to give a full loadspace, loads of legroom and as you say they are low which means passengers can actually look out the side windows rather than squinting through the alpine lights as in a normal CSW

Cheers Steve

Thanks Steve.

I am putting the outer seats (not the middle one - in order to preserve the loadbed length) into my 110 hardtop by creating the 2nd row floor configuration and cutting the wheelboxes. A different job to yours but this is the kind of outcome I am looking for.

At the moment I am planning to get the 2 outer Exmoor premium highbacks as they come with the seat frame. Once I have the floor right all I need to do is add these and the seatbelts.

Cheers chaps. If anyone has more photos of different seats in there defenders please post them need more ideas. Cheers guys.

Good advice. Defender11069 cheers pal. Keep them coming. I heard a good Volvo seers are good. Just need something that I can rip out if I have to at the drivers seat.

MGF - main bonus points - theyre very thin, cheap, comfortable and being from the Rover family, the seatbelt buckles fit and are on stalks which move with the seats.

to fit rangie seats all u need to do is drill 4 holes and fit rivnuts.... 5 minute job and easy to take in and out with no nuts to fiddle with.....

plus make a bracket to hold the seat back either side....

on a note though rangey rears are quite thick on the base.... i'm 5'10" and it was ideal for me but over 6ft forget it....

cheers steve

loads more leg room and a much better height for rear passengers who no longer feel they have their heads on the roof and watch the world through the alpine lights......
