Chaps:
Finally got the two last big bits out today:
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntC_rTQIwhk"]YouTube- 300TDI seat box and bulkhead removed[/nomedia]

Problem is apart from having to renovate the seat box too now ive got some holes on the top of my chassis :eek:(

Whats the best way to repair them, can I weld a plate over the top of the whole lot?

cheers

I already know, ..a trusted landrover dealership..

We dont all play detective for every second hand bit of land rover we buy do we?

I dont want to get into a mass 'debate' in this thread as im looking for help, not a philosophical conversation on part origins. Four other dealerships had bulkheads in the same condtion and wanted 350-450+VAT for theirs so I wouldnt call mine cheap, just a few quid less and right on my doorstep (a few years ago you could get a new one for £200!! thats cheap!).

We are all entitles to our opinions, as you are too...and you obviously know more about the part and the independant garage, and the chap thats ran it for 25years than I do.
Judging by your over sized signature strip im sorry youve been the victim of a theft of some kind but there is no need to tar everyone with the same brush just because we get a good deal from time to time.

Im a fairly intelligent degree qualified chap so am capable of forming my own opinions of a situation and telling if i've got a dodgey deal..., my fiance is also a police officer so i couldnt be further from the wrong side of the law if I tried!! :p

Ignore BoB he's just miffed with all these people getting 2nd hand parts for a reasonable price. It means there's no way anyone will pay the stupidly over rated prices that he charges. Given the number of Parts BoB seems to be trying to sell I'm getting worried that we might have a major seller of stolen landy parts in our midst..
