HELP!! I have a rebuilt SD1 V8 sitting in the engine bay of my RR, unfortunately only now am I realizing some of the problems with regard to alternator and power steering pump locations (there may be others!!) would the timing cover from a 3.9 fit this engine without modification or is there an alternative to changing the cover without fabricating brackets and mounts for these components, I hope to keep the engine bay as close to standard as possible. Any advice would be very helpful, Cheers Iain

blocks are identical apart from weaker valley strengtheners on early motors,3.5 or 3.9 non serpentine belts would fit best bet to find knackered 3.5 with all brackets and pulleys
