Got an action plan together! I have someone to fit the LT77 gearbox (I take it from all that I have read it will fit and will then need setting up - is this right?) and do a pre MOT TEST. Put it in for the MOT and depending on out come service and cam belt. Just have to find the money now.
I now live in South Warwickshire. Miles away from you Yella but thank you.

Thank you Sirus, how are you at teaching/instruction?! I have decided that I really need to invest in some basic training so that I can stop being a bit of a girl about all of this.
Currently, my house mate is helping me out with the gear box and pre MOT. The future of The Beast depends on the MOT. Ever hopefull me!

no it werent, it were a M8.8 with a nylock nut, feckin 17mm head
