Scotland - North coast adventure.

Hi Folks. Portalrover is organising a week-end of driving, on and off road, near Eriboll in the far north.
We leave on the 21st, in the afternoon, from Evanton, and return on the 23rd.
You do not have to leave then, but it's fun in a convoy !
We will be fording rivers and using mountain roads to access the site - for those who hate water - there is a public road to the site !

There is no set format, but we will be camping. If you think you will need it - bring it. There are not many shops round here !

Beach and river driving with the chance to use a course used by Landrover as a test ground. There is a wilderness up here, and we have access to an awful lot of it.

Adventure and explore. Camp fire and party.

Cost £25 pre vehicle for camping. Off roading is free. :welcome2:

Aw mate, I'm sorely tempted. I drove my Disco 300TDi up from Dorset to Stonehaven yesterday, going for a barbeque tonight celebrate my birthday (which is tomorrow), and to round it off with a trip up north would be top!

What time will you be leaving Evanton? I'll have to recover from tonight's festivities and get up to you - and that's about a 3 hour drive.

Also, I'm keen not to bust the Disco. I need it for work and it'd be a major pain in the butt if I bust it after driving it 550 miles up here. It's completely unmodded and I haven't even brought my mud tyres with me - just plain old ATs on alloys. Will you be gentle with me?
