Does anyone else have a bi-polar disco or is it just me? One day I get in and it's sluggish, noisy,it bangs and creaks and wallows around then the next day...whoosh its away, no knocks no nothing..

Seriously I think my disco is self-healing, if I leave something long enough it goes away. For the last 2 months I thought I had a knackered shock, go over bumpy bit on road on the way to work and its all over the place every day/same time...except today, solid as a rock.

Take the gearbox for instance, for months been crunching from 4th to 5th and back again..today, smooth as my arse.

Even the engine sounded today like the Land Rover fairy visited last night and rebuilt it ready for the drive to work, ran so well I could have carried on to Scotland.

On a serious note maybe it was like this because it was cold and foggy oop north this morning?

On an annoying note someone left me a note under the wiper yesterday that said "nice truck".....TRUCK OFF

PS..people are still trying to sell Discos on ebay by putting 'get ready for the snow' which annoys me slightly less than those who put 'monster' just because it has 285 tyres on.

Sorry, been a long day

I know where yer comin from with the self healing disco! mines the same.... one day it will be gutless and run like a bag o ****e then the next day its a flyer! mine always runs nice and smooth on the way to work but on the way home it feels like youve got to flog it to make it do anything but got used to it now so not arsed about its bad days coz it does have its good days aswell!

mines the other way.on the way to work it feels awful bumpy noisey feels like its droppin to bits.on the way home it drives a dream
