Can anybody help,

I thought my 97 defender 90 looked like it was leaning to the left but just ignored (hoped it would fix itself)
Anyway driving along yesterday taking a right hand bend, not too fast about 35mph, it felt like the defender was goona topple over.

now its doin it all the time but only on right bends, fine turning left.

Have to slow right down for every right bend and there seems to be a lot more of them around now.

Are my springs/ shocks fecked?

check springs for cracks, check ride height, check dampers for security and leaks, check your tyre pressures.:crazy_driver:

Check the axle mounts for the panard rod make sure it connected and not flopping about if its off DON't drive it.

Check radius arm bushes and all suspension buses AND mounts. These motors are old and it has been known for mounts to break off an axle. Make sure bushes and mounts are in good nick.

Also worth a note here is:

You tend to drive harder around right hand bends. This is bacause you sit on the right (assumuing its RHD) and you raise up opposed to lowering yourself when turning left hard or at speed.

I read this thread last week and just assumed it was a wind-up, after all who would continue to drive such an unstable vehicle and (worse), hope it would fix itself overnight!
