Scam?

So I think this is kind of fishy, he says last service was done 2018, seems to be December 2019, he wants to use some site I’ve never heard of and can’t find much about, so I’m just asking for a second opinion, there is the exact same car for sale but with more photo’s, and it’s located in Amsterdam, not Rotterdam. And different mileage

Internet scams like this are common, the key is the information about payment. Seen it many times when I was looking for my car on the internet.

im waiting for an email back from him, i confronted him with some of these things, see what he has to say, but what if he ends up wanting to meet and the car is actualy there? i highly doubt it

Whatever he says or does, the payment method means it is a scam. Even if you get the car, you will not get to keep it, once they have your cash, the car will disappear.

ask yourself why would you need to put money up front into an account before supposedly deciding on buying after checks and a test drive,its a well known scam as the account isnt neutral

If you really want get rid of some money I know of several worthy charities that could do with it ie; British heart foundation, Cancer research etc
More worthy than any scammer

Hmmm
I had a wander around the Guernsey Air Rifle Assoc website. No mention of a Luke Lucas. Which is odd considering he uses it as part of his signature. Tried COBO as well. Still nothing.
Im sure you've gathered by now this is a 'stay away'.
