Hi folks,
Can't find a specific answer... She can I buy sas pink panther paint?
Just bought yet another landrover - early defender , other half would like it pink, who am I to argue?

I think your looking for desert pink paint, I think there are a few suppliers out there - can't imagine it would be cheap though, and I'm faily sure it was a Matt paint, so could be difficult to keep clean

If you mean the SII/SIIa pink panthers you might struggle to get the paint. Everything I've read about their colour states it was a custom mix, so as such you wont find a simple answer. Though apparently its something along the lines of:

10 parts White
1 part Red
1 part Buff

You'll also need to lop the top orf and mount a GPMG and Browning M2.

....well, if a job's worth doing and all that......

isn't there any paint/body shops near you?

There's a company called Mountspace in chichester near me and if you can take em a sample or something for them to copy they'll make any paint you want, not sure if they'd post or if it'd be worth trying to find some where similar near you?

Paint for military vehicles from War Paint

or find a war museum .. and inquire ?

i'd say .. find an original vehicle .. take a photo .. inquire at a paint shop ..
'xcept a photo might not replicate the 'shade' properly ..
( image-google " pink land rover "
.. even with those sas vehicles .. the photo shades differ wildly )
