hello everyone,

i have never owned a 4x4 and always wanted too own a land rover so looked for a VERY cheap disco 2 as it will just be taking the dogs too and from the beach, towing jetski too and from the beach and offroading....

so looked with something with poor exterior as im just gonna bash it about anyway..

so my dad says someone he knows has got one so i gave him a shout and £1350 later i got this,,,,,

150,000 miles new mot and tax.....

so started making it a little better..

first sorted out the wiring as some one really liked block connectors with no isulation..

anyone know where to get the three bottom ones?

also got a handiwash system with hot and cold water today from an ex aa van for £20 which i thought was a bargain...

hopefully tomorrow i will have a kenwood cd player installed and get some cables run through for the handiwash...

thanks

na bought 4 of the top ones from halfrauds and found out today that they do not fit, the top one is from the clock..

i have also just found out part numbers for the bulbs on rave,

2x black one - 8510251
1x silver one - JWH100070

do i just get these from landrover?

ok today i fitted my kenwood cd player into so now i have music :clap2:

You are showing us all the way to go mate - using your money wisely and carefully.

another day woking on the disco....

sealed my tail lights and fitted them so nice and water proof,

then decided to put my popper on the rear door as i will be removing the rear door handle to make way for the mdf door card, put the button for the door in the brake light cover,
