Safari head lining

Good Evening ALL,
I've nearly finished my restoration of my 109 Safari. I'm struggling with the head lining. The middle section is fine where the air vents are. All great condition.
Does anyone know who sells the front and rear sections.

La salle only seem to do complete headliner in one piece made from GRP. Or front only.

Alternatively does anyone know who can restore the original. I still have the bits.

I think it may be a trip to get it done at an auto trimmers. On mine the metal frame on the front section is mainly rust

Why not simply give LaSalle a buzz and hear if they have a solution for you?

Hello yes I spoke to La Salle... Very very unhelpful, all I got was... "Check the website, all the information is on the website"

I've found a trimmers in Bolton... Ive touched base with him but now he's not answering the phone...

On my 88 I had a local upholstery shop sew up my headliner, sun visors and bulkhead cover. They used room darkening curtain material which is very similar to the original. The material came from an upholstery supplier in the UK.

That looks very professional, the problem I have are the bits or poles they stretch the material over are missing and I can't find them anywhere.

Probably not too difficult to make. Guessing they were originally metal, but you might be able to make something out of alkathene pipe or similar, less metal to rust or corrode.

That's a surprise! I have always had fantastic service from them. I first got new door cards, and everything was hunky-dory, had great feedback from them throughout the process. Then I ordered a new headliner, and DHL made a right mess of the delivery. Made a report to LaSalle and they contacted me in less than 30 mins with excellent advice on what to do. LaSalle was so ****ed off with DHL that they managed to sort out a new one in a couple of weeks, and I know they had a right go at DHL.
