Thanks, crustyness aside, I reckon some quick release system would be sufficient. Unbolting them in front of the garage is not a problem, but jump starting the car without tools is a slightly differnt matter.

ive fitted cam locking nuts to mine so a quick tug....of the lever...

and the nut undoes. bish bash bosh!

Cloth ones are manual, leather are heated and drivers electric.

I have been led to believe that they just bolt in, but don't quote me on that.

You could wire in an Anderson connector and mount it somewhere else, then you could jump it through that so you wouldn't need to remove the seat to jump it.

They dont bolt "straight in" and will need lifting up and brackets making.

Additionally they are quite wide for a bucket seat which means you have to kick them inwards quite a bit

Not sure I want RX8 seats now.

I thought someone said they were just a direct fit?

I had to lift mine on some 20mm aluminium extruded section (other materials are available) and i think i cut off a couple of tabs from memory.
