put em on an see if the rub on the rear..
as they are wider you will have to adjust steering stops as the will rub on full lock..

I hear what you're saying, and I was originally looking at yrm parts. This kit contains more panels tho, is pre welded together and cheaper! Will quality be that different?

Well today's efforts haven't been quite as fruitful as I had hoped.
My new winch bumper arrived yesterday to much excitement, so today was "working from home" so that I could crack out the toolbox and get fitting.
Now as mine's a v8 I know that to fit a standard winch bumper the oil cooler will have to be relocated. "No drama" I thought, as I haven't got the winch itself yet so i can worry about that later... opps..
currently the bumper is on, and the oil cooler mounting bolts taken out so that it can be lifted slightly to make room for the new metal work. Obviously this isn't a permanent solution though. Anyone else got experience of this mod, and able to offer any advice?
Pic of new bumper will follow soon, once i've washed all the salt etc off the bodywork and made her look more presentable
The other job of the day was fitting the new wheels/tyres. Unfortunately the difference in offset means that to fit I would need flexi arches - the tyres came out past the lip of the arch! Back to the drawing board...

hello mate
you can maybe just see my oil cooler mod in this pic.
this is a 3.5 with LT77 manual, and pipe cleaner type oil cooler.
basically i had to have rubber hoses made up to replace the front half of the existing pipework. they go from the cooler to the fittings half way down the side of the engine block, and then the original pipes go from there to the gearbox.
i originally managed to bend my pipes to move the cooler enough, but when i fitted the winch i needed to go right to the top, so hoses were required.
blummin 60 quid to have them made, but at least being land rover they were all standard fittings, no crazy threads involved.
