Running Problem

Finnaly got around o doing the head gasket on the 2 1/4 petrol Series 2A, (Only taken me 6 months) while i was at it changed all the leads, plugs, coil, new distributor with the britpart electronic module.

When i got it all together, timing somewhere near, turned the key and away she went, running sweet as a nut.

Jumped in and took it for a mile of so up the road, ran great.

Got back home and went in for a cuppa, when i returned half hour later, landy started no problem but will not rev.

Every tome i press the accelorator it misses and spluters. It will idle lovley but just wont rev.

Any ideas where to start looking.

I was thinking clean fuel lines carb etc.

carb or distributor.

check the vacuum advance works proper too.

you sure yer points int come adrift? and did yer grease the cam when yer fitted them?

even new parts can fail quickly,i'd check the module as its a ****part
