Good evening folks, my freelander has started to develope a "rumbling" nosie from the front left wheel when it's turning right it only seems to happen when I'm doing above 10-15mph ish. Anyone able to shine any light on this matter will be much appreciated

Funny you should have this mine has just started to complain
I am leaning towards the CV /drive shaft ,I did think it might be the IRD but a chat with bell engineering eased my worries .
I can't praise them enough, to take the time to look over my Freelander and come for a test drive to locate the problem is above and beyond the call
TOP MAN!!!!!

wow, out of curiosity, I just had a look on Rimmers to see what sort of prices they are charging...

LR Outer CV : £220
OEM Outer CV : £121
Aftermarket Outer CV : £25

LR Driveshaft : £511
OEM Driveshaft : £233
Aftermarket Driveshaft : £63

Just slight differences there then!

Wow thanks for that. My f/l is no way worth the value to justify paying dealer prices, suppose I'll start looking now for a new part
