Hi everyone
Am planning to purchase low mileage 44k miles,2008 RR.sport tdv8 from a friend who is first owner.
It has been well kept, properly maintained. Recently he changed both turbos & both egrs on it.,;according to him, reason being that it was slow in pick, not in limp mode. The dealer told him to replace one turbo, but he being cautious replaced both turbos & egrs

Have been reading on different range Rover forums about reliability issues of these...since I have never kept one of these...want your expert opinion, whether to ahead and buy ,or else go for Mercedes S550

Regards

Judging by your user title, if you're expecting a cheap to maintain car or 4x4 i'd avoid both..

But as you're here i'd like to point you to the Range Rover section, there we'll give you the particulars.

Welcome aboard.

Yer looking to buy a vehicle that was a lot of money when it was new. That kind of makes me think parts will be eggspensive. It ain't going to be cheap to run.
