cheers , wasn’t sure as I just made a guess if it was an egr thermostat valve

that’s why I also thought about using an infrared thermostat to see if that could indicate any blockage or lack of circulation, know u can buy them cheap

hope all goes well and get it resolved once and for all

Well been back at the garage today and we are all scathing are heads problem still there top hose still getting rock hard had the cap off revved it up to like 4.5k and no water bubbled over the are no symptoms of head gasket issues so any more help would be appreciated

Is the cab heater getting hot, if not air trapped in system.
