hi all I own a 1990 rr classic with an electronic speedo which was working fine it has been parked up for a month and I went to it the other day the battery was flat so boosted it but I also had a problem with mice in it and now the speedo needle is sat round past the last mph mark and not moving does anybody have any idea what it could be please as this is the first car ive ever owned with an electric speedo thanks dave

The Speedo is delivered via a sensor on the Gearbox I think...it pulses a voltage depending on speed.
I attach some information that may be of use...there is also a test (Test D) that you could try....

Have you tried a tap or thump ? Technical adjustment as per SAS vehicle handbook.
